Monday morning musing
As a child we don’t really have a great concept of our abilities and what we can and can’t do.
We don’t really question whether we can do something, it’s more based on whether we want to.
If we want to we don’t see why we can’t do it.
When does that change?
When do we start to ‘what if?’
When do we start to play it safe?
Is it when we move out of home?
Is it when we start to feel ‘grown up’?
We probably miss so many opportunities or tie ourselves to things we aren’t that into purely because of a fear.
But surely it is that fear that should thrust us forward, that should show us our abilities and just what we are capable of? It should show us how resiliant people can be and how we actually can adapt to a changing environment and how we can actually find a way to make things work.
You have to live outside of your comfort zone to make things happen.
You will find an acceptable place as to how far out of your comfort zone we go.
When did we stop feeling brave?
When do we begin to feel brave again?
To really live?
